Peter's Web Links: Wii on the web

Seeing how the Nintendo Wii is getting so much exposure lately and has obviously taken over as the gaming system of choice, it's only appropriate to add some humour to the newest gaming phenomenon.

Wii Have a Problem
www.wiihaveaproblem.com

This site is f'n hilarious! If you want to see some of the crazy accidents that people have had because of their Wiis, you have to check this site out. People send in pictures of their injuries, injuries of people who were in the room with them and injuries to their pets. Yes, I said, “pets.” If that's not enough for you, there's a whole section dedicated to TVs and other household items that have been busted or cracked due to really getting into the Wii. Once you're done laughing at people, feel free to sign up to post comments and then head on over to the Wii News section for all the latest news.

StrongBad Wii Games

This is a pretty cool idea here! If you have your Wii connected to the net and you download the free web browser, enter this URL and play these Commodore 64-ish type games with your Wiimote! Strongbad and his crazy creators have made some interesting games that will waste lots of your time. Don't fret, Strongbad fans, you don't HAVE to have a Wii to play these little time wasters, you can just use your mouse on your PC! More games are supposed to be coming soon, so keep checking back.

Retro Controller Gaming

I wish that I were technologically savvy because I would have loved to come up with this product. On this site, you can buy adapters that will allow you to use classic NES or SNES controllers on your Wii so you can play the classics the way they were meant to be played. If you like tinkering around with your older controllers for other systems, the site has options for you to be able to use other controllers on your PC if you're an emulation fan. Gamers and PC fans, make sure to browse this site. If I decide to order one of these adapters in the next couple of weeks, I'll let you know how they work.
