Pete's Links: Time well wasted

Hope you're all refreshed from your little break. I'm sure most of you spent some quality time with the Internet. This is some of the stuff that I've been checking out:

Top 10 infuriatingly hard video games
www.cracked.com
This is a cool little article explaining not only why some of these games were (and still are) cool, but there's a little bit of humour in this downright accurate account of some of the world's hardest games. I totally agree with putting Ninja Gaiden, Battletoads and Ghosts N' Goblins on this list. Great games, f'n hard. Anyone else want to add to this list?

The Metal Observer
www.metal-observer.com
Not too much to say about this except that it's another great site that gives you the skinny on many classic releases and the reviewers give their two cents. If you're researching past metal releases, this site is very helpful.

Cool toy review
www.cooltoyreview.com
This site is really fun, especially how the annual Toy Fair expo just took place. This site gives you all the information and images of this year's upcoming toys. For you Star Wars fans, make sure you check out the toys that are representing the new Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game coming out this year as well as the “Clone Wars” TV show line. DC Direct makes me wish I was a DC Comics fan because their “Secret Wars” figures that are shown on this site are amazing. Check it ALL out!

Pro wrestling
www.prowrestling.net
This site is more recent, but the site's main man, Jason Powell, has been a wrestling journalist for a long time. This site provides predictions, insight, reviews and the regular daily news items. If you have a couple bookmarked, check this one out, too.
