Multiple attacks on females in core area
The London Police Service
reports that a woman was
assailed and sexually assaulted
by two males, early in the morning
on May 5, 2010. There have
been similar attacks on women in
the downtown core area in recent
weeks.
The woman was traveling alone near the train tracks along the south side of Pall Mall Street between Waterloo Street and Colborne Street, at approximately 4:30 a.m., when she was approached and assaulted by the two men.
The first male is described as white with a slender build, approximately 5'6” with light to dirty blonde hair. He has a short goatee and was wearing shorts and a blue shirt with a hologram design on the front.
The second is described as white with a stocky build, approximately 6', clean-shaven, and wearing a black hoodie with dark-washed jeans with rips on the sides.
There have been other recent events downtown in which lone women have been approached and assaulted by unidentified men. It is unknown at this time whether any of these events are related or linked; however Police do urge the public to be cautious and to avoid walking in public alone through the night.
