Is Singh the next big thing?

Smackdown wasn't the best this week (although it looks like Smackdown is finally going to really push their tag team division) but at least after another dismal Mark Henry encounter, we finally got to see the next “big” thing in wrestling. Dalip Singh made his WWE debut and took it to The Undertaker. Unfortunately, I don't think this angle is going to go anywhere. Anytime the WWE has brought in a giant (Big Show, Kane, Giant Gonzales), they do their best to hurt the Undertaker as much as possible before the next big PPV only for the Undertaker to a) get beaten and have a few months off only to return and win or b) just win and bury the angle.

I'm guessing Smackdown fans won't see a title change for a while now. Randy Orton got a 60 day suspension for inappropriate conduct (whatever that is). Most people think it has to do with backstage ego problems and getting involved somehow with the divas again. I really don't care. You want to screw your career up, go ahead. There are others who can wear the belt, Orton.

On Raw this week, it seemed like most of the roster had the night off. The start of the show had HHH, John Cena and Edge yap for 20 minutes. The last 20 minutes of the show was their handicap match where Edge got the crap kicked out of him.

Another 20 minutes was wasted with the useless match between Kane and The Big Show vs. The Spirit Squad. I called the Kane/Big Show angle and split before Wrestlemania and it looks like it's on course now. Let me ask you a question: how can Kane not put down the Spirit Squad but can choke slam the 500 pound Big Show into unconsciousness? To boot, how in the hell did we hear Kane's “internal” voices? Does this make any sense? No...and neither does the Spirit Squad holding the titles.

McMahon, McMahon...is there any level that you won't stoop to? Drinking and spitting up holy water? What are you thinking, man? Let's see if there is divine intervention at the PPV to see if McMahon will drop dead from a heart attack. It's not that far fetched, people. It IS the WWE.
