Graduation information
Ceremonies at Fanshawe's London campus will be held on June 13, 14 and 15 in the school's J gymnasium. Students are asked to be at J gym 3 by 9am for morning ceremonies and 1pm for afternoon ceremonies, meanwhile guests are asked to go directly to J gym 1.
To qualify for the June graduation date, students must complete course requirements, including co-op obligations, before May 5, 2006.
The morning ceremony begins at 10am and the afternoon ceremonies start at 2pm.
Fanshawe's satellite campuses will be holding their graduation in the fall of 2006.
Although graduation tickets are free and you can request a specific amount, there are a limited number of guest spaces available. Tickets will be mailed out for orders made before May 22, 2006, and after that time tickets can be picked up at the Office of the Registrar, E1012.
Tickets to all graduations ceremonies can be ordered through FanshaweOnline.
All graduates are required to wear the traditional Fanshawe gown, which are red and normally hit-mid-calf in length. Although mortarboards caps are available, the college does not recommend that students wear them or bring flowers on stage.
Any outstanding debts, such as over due library fines, must be settled before you can receive your diploma.
If you do not attend the ceremony, your diploma will be mailed to you free of charge within six weeks of graduation.
Guests are encouraged to take photographs and the ceremony will be video taped and made available for approximately $20.
After the ceremony there will be a light reception in Forwell Hall with refreshments and a cash bar. Document frames, alumni scarves, Fanshawe memorabilia, flowers and college rings will also be on sale.
